Friedman is giving his opinion over the Republican Presidential Debate that was recently glossed over by this year. He continues to go over the various things he would have asked and goes over the various political things of the past, such as when President Reagan's 4-cent gas tax to go to 9 cents for the sake of the building of highways. He continued to say I his opinion whether or not right now would it still be acted upon. He even continues to go on to say things like "The Republicans would propose to pay by selling gold from Fort Knox or Paintings from The National Museum. It continues to go even further on how the Republicans continue to be undermined and how they'd be perfectly fine with raising the Gas Taxes. He then takes a different turn as he goes over how "they wouldn't be able to please everyone such as the anti-science, anti-tax, anti-government, anti-minorities, anti-gay rights, and anti-immigration views among other things." It goes over how the Republic Government is hard to handle in the situation as how people are hard to please or refuse to be happy. The way how so many situations are shown at their worst and are repeatedly stated as unsatisfactory.
